A Few of My Favorite Things…day 1

Of course you've seen (and sung!) The Sound of Music, right? Sometimes a picture really is worth a thousand words…so I'm going to start my first occasional series: A Few of My Favorite Things in pictures.  (Don't miss the chance to enter yesterday's birthday giveaway, though…head on back there to enter with a comment.)

I just put a post last week about my favorite things. It seems that we are on the same page quoting the movie’s fun song.

Oh, I love the beach at sunset, too. It was one of my favorite things to do in the summer…go to the beach and sit there while watching the sun get lower and lower in the sky. I hope you had a great Monday!

As someone who just loves taking pictures, I think I enjoy even more looking at brilliant photography. You have such an eye. What a lovely picture of summer.

My task is to simplify and then go deeper, making a commitment to what remains. That's what I've been after. To care and polish what remains till it glows and comes alive from loving care. Sue Bender :: Plain and Simple.

welcome

I'm so glad you've found my little corner of the world, where you can poke around to see what beautiful parts of creation (both little and big things) have been inspiring me. Perhaps you'll leave feeling a little bit more inspired yourself. Enjoy.
