Crafting for Water.

Over the past week I’ve been sewing for water. For a well, actually. Not just any well, though…a well that will change people’s lives and save people’s children.

I can’t even imagine how agonizing it would be as a mother not to be able to provide for my children. But there are 4500 mothers who bury their children due to contaminated water…every day. One in six people on the planet does not have access to clean water. And just $10 will provide one person in Africa clean water for 10 YEARS. It doesn’t seem possible, but it is.

Enter: Project 320. Some crafty ladies with big hearts are offering up fifteen raffle bundles with ten donated handmade items in each bundle. And all you have to do to have a chance win one is donate $10 to charity water. Make a difference in a life and in the world and win some crafty goodness at the same time. It’s a win win situation! And you just might win one of my tote bags in the mix! Keep your eyes peeled for some of Amy Butler’s bright green fabric this week…that’s the tote I’ve been sewing. I hope you win it!

So please do click over to Project 320 and join in the life-changing fun this week. Donate to their account at charity water and make a difference. Check out how to win here, and good luck!
