Making Merry.

So many of the stories I’d like to remember just haven’t appeared here this season. Like the night we spent at the Candlelight Christmas, listening to Christmas carolers, touring the old adobe, and wondering just what the girls dancing around in white robes with lanterns were supposed to be…

…the day and evening spent with all the neighbors as we hung the lights across our street…

…the beautiful evening at Mission San Juan Capistrano with dear friends…

…watching Ellie play/attack our toys and Christmas tree…finding ornaments she’s chased all over the house…

…enjoying a few quiet moments here and there…

…un-bunking the boys’ beds and how they loved having their curtains open to read in bed by the light of the snowflake…

…an evening with neighbors under the lights outside…

…watching the boys eagerly open their activity calendar each morning…

…this perfect moment…Christmas music, a cleanish house, playing games with the boys with Ellie at our feet…

…touring nearby neighborhoods and marveling at the house where the lights coordinated with music on the radio…

…and now for the best days of all! Christmas Eve with family and Christmas day celebrating Jesus’ birth and watching the wonder of two little boys.

Merry Christmas!
