Let The Good Times Roll.

Taking a vacation with your cousins when you’re right at home…it’s a good thing. Getting away from the laundry (which piles up all week) and the cooking (thanks for feeding us, Mom!) and the everyday routine to spend the week with cousins. Yes, even the sleepless nights with a boy recovering from a neck injury and the days with tantrums from a boy thrown off by the lack of routine are all worth it.

Spending our days with the kids creating scavenger hunts as a way to get Nonna to give them candy, hiding in the attic, going to the pool…

spending an evening on the “ducky” boat on Newport Harbor…

…watching the sailboat races going on all around us and hoping that nobody tips over…

…enjoying some extra time with these baby rolls…

…and baby grins…

…enjoying the Fourth of July decorations around Balboa Island…

…climbing trees…

…and shooting arrows…

…Yes, baby K, I feel happy.
